Summer of Zappa III

Okay kids, get your popcorn and your beverages because we’re going to Cleveland! The RNC carnival starts today and it seems appropriate to get Frank involved, as he had much to say about the political landscape of this great nation.

For instance, Frank said this —

There is more stupidity than hydrogen in the universe, and it has a longer shelf life.

He also said this —

The computer can’t tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what’s missing is the eyebrows.

Which has nothing to do with anything, I just like it. The eyebrows, indeed.

So, without further ado, let’s go to Cleveland!

The perfect soundtrack, I think, for what promises to be an undoubtedly disappointing, internationally embarrassing and desperately inane festival of idiots. At least we can listen to a virtuosic instrumental while we inhale our spectator’s snacks and watch the ship sink ever more. Isn’t there some bit somewhere about rearranging the deck chairs on the titanic? I’ll leave that one to the comedians among us.
